The AppleInsider claims that after four years of development and setbacks, Steve Jobs is finally happy with their long anticipated tablet device. It appears that a go-ahead has been given to take the tablet to market sometime in early 2010.
The Apple tablet design is expected to lie somewhere between an iPhone and a laptop, with a 10-inch sized screen. Some rumored switch-ups include using an ARM processor instead of Intel’s Atom processor, and Verizon as a data provider instead of AT&T.
Using the ARM processor would make perfect sense after Apple’s acquisition last year of P.A. Semi, since it would provide them with greater control over the hardware while lowering costs.
